TCI Coaches, Trainers, TCs, and Staff

We invite you to join the ever-growing group of educators in the TCI Community. Our community consists of teachers, administrators, and staff dedicated to engaging all learners in the diverse classroom using the TCI Approach.

The first step in joining the TCI Community is to participate in our discussion groups. You’ll get ideas for your own classroom, engage in professional exchanges with teachers from around the country, and share your own best practices.

For further involvement, we are always looking for more educators to fill these roles:

Coaches

Conduct presentations and classroom demonstrations to help further the implementation of the TCI Approach in their school districts.

Trainers

Train and consult fellow teachers and administrators via TCI Academy courses and consulting relationships. Trainers typically conduct at least three weeks of training in the summer and a few days during the school year.

Teacher Consultants

Advocate the TCI Approach to neighboring districts by way of presentations and attendance at professional conferences. Teacher Consultants have typically been Coaches.

Staff (TCI employees)

Create active, student-centered social studies programs that increase students’ excitement for learning.
